About Meccha Chameleon Online
Meccha Chameleon Online is a small, independent fan project run by a single operator who loves hide-and-seek games. This page explains who we are, what this site does, and the relationship between the free browser game and the official Steam release.
Who Runs This Site
This website is operated by an individual game fan (Xavier Liao) as a non-commercial hobby project. There is no company behind the site, no team of writers, and no editorial board — just one person who enjoys the game and wants other players to be able to try it instantly in a browser, free of charge.
You can reach the operator directly through the contact page. We read every message and reply to most within a couple of working days.
Why This Site Exists
The purpose of Meccha Chameleon Online is simple: let anyone play Mecha Chameleon in a browser with zero setup. The site embeds the free browser build (Mecha Chameleon – Global Arena), publishes original guides, and points players who want the full paid experience to the official Steam release — honestly and without hiding what is free and what is paid.
The site is deliberately small and clear: no fake download buttons, no misleading "official" claims, no paywall, and no ads. If you came here looking for the official paid game, the download page tells you exactly where to get it.
The Browser Game vs the Steam Game
There are two related but separate products in the Meccha Chameleon family:
- Mecha Chameleon – Global Arena (this site, free): a free multiplayer hide-and-seek browser build with 16-player regional servers, paint-to-match camouflage, 50+ free skins, and themed maps. No install, no account, no payment.
- MECCHA CHAMELEON (Steam, paid): the official PC release by the game's publisher — a more complete game where Seekers and Hiders face off against a timer. It is the canonical full version of the franchise.
This site is not the official website for either product. It is an unofficial fan page that hosts the browser build in an embedded player and writes original guides about it. All game names, artwork, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Editorial Standards
Every guide on this site is written by the operator from actual play experience and the game's documented mechanics. We do not scrape content, we do not publish AI-generated filler, and we do not accept payment for reviews or rankings.
If we make a factual error about the game or a price changes on Steam, we correct the page and note the update. The site has no hidden agenda: it exists to help people play and understand the game, and to send buyers to the official store page when that is the right answer.
